I’ve been playing baseball most of my life and for the most it saved my life. It felt more then just a game to me it felt like I was born to do this. Since I was 9 when I first started playing I’ve always had this competitive nature and the drive to play. It’s in my blood line as my dad played in Puerto Rico and my uncle almost went pro before having a career ending injury. In high school I played my freshman year as a starter and defensive gold glove winner at short stop. I did not play my sophomore or junior year with conflicting schedules between work and school I just couldn’t do it. I played again my senior year and help my team reach to the regional finals were be lost 2-1 and played with a fractured tibia. Since I didn’t play the two years I had no college offers to play so I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in hopes to play for the corps although I didn’t get to play for the corps since they no longer have a team I currently play in the mens Carolina baseball league. Since playing in this league I mainly catch but I also play 3B. Being in the Marine Corps has taught me to never give up on my dreams so I’m reaching out to see if I can make them come true I promise you won’t be disappointed in the heart drive and passion for the game that I will bring to the table day in and day out.
