My name is Davonta Black, I’m 21 years old. I’ve played football since the seventh grade. I played Quarterback in 9th and 10th grade. Once I got to the 11th grade I rotated between Strong safety and outside linebacker. I continued to play that in my senior year. After high school I didn’t plan on going to school so I joined the marines when I was 18. I’ve became a NCO through hard work and great leadership. I excel in taking charge and leading others. I give 100% in everything I do and will always do more than what’s asked of me to better myself. I’ve played 2 different teams in the Marine Corps full contact league. Another reason going to college besides playing the sport I love the most is, I wanna be the first person in my family to go to college and graduate. This would be a major achievement for me and my family.
